Who we are: August Properties, Inc. is a Florida licensed real estate brokerage company formed in 1978. It's base has
been in Ocala, Florida for the past 20 years. The founder, Richard Shultz, has been in the real estate investment, development,
and finance business since 1970. His developments include shopping centers, hotels, industrial and business parks, as well
as award winning residential communities.
Mr. Shultz has also been an active participant in the thoroughbred
industry for more than 20 years after a long involvement with standardbreds. He has bred many stakes winners. As an owner
there have been numerous stakes winners and successes along the way. He has enjoyed great satisfaction in recent years
from breaking, training, and selling young thoroughbreds destined for winning races. This interest and passion has led
him to redesign, expand and improve one of Ocala's most storied thoroughbred training centers.
